FOOD: Healthy Breakfast Ideas




Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or at least that’s what they say. Here are a few ideas to keep it quick and healthy, whether at home or on the go.

1)  Egg Sandwich: toasted wheat bread, fried egg over hard (add ons: cheese, ham, avocado, bacon, arugula and tomato)

2)  Plain greek yogurt with berries and local honey

3)  Smoothie: almond butter, banana, coconut water, flax seed, protein powder, milk of choice, berries, honey or agave for sweetness

4)  Nut Butter and banana sandwich: wheat bread, almond butter and sliced banana, honey and cinnamon.

5)  Egg Taco: warmed corn tortilla, fried egg over hard, salsa (add ons: cheese, avocado, cooked veggies)

6) Oatmeal : Add milk of choice and berries and honey
