We at SimplyNavy love Sonoma County. A quaint town square, great food and wineries, and a little more small town vibe than Napa make it our go-to choice. And…it’s just an hour north of San Francisco, which makes it the perfect Bay Area getaway!
Here are some of our favorite restaurants…
Girl in the Fig has a beautiful patio – ideal for dinner, lunch or brunch.
El Dorado Kitchen is great for brunch, afternoon snack and drink, or dinner. It’s right in the square, so perfect for a stroll after.
El Molino Central is great local organic Mexican spot – great for take out or eating on the patio. They have the best swiss chard enchiladas, and the pork tamales are incredible. Make sure to pick up their homemade tortillas and salsas to take home.
A little further north…
Glen Ellen Star is worth the 20 minute drive up from Sonoma and worth the drive. Everything is cooked in their wood burning oven and is amazing!
